We are Kenny and Ginny. We call Northeast Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula home during the summer months. Together, we enjoy recreational boating on the Oconto River and the Bay of Green Bay and camping in the cooler northern states. When the boating season is over, we become snowbirds and head south for the winter with our luxury DRV Moble Suites 5th-wheel trailer that we call Château de Sallé.

I bought the Château de Sallé in July 2018 with my late wife Nancy after our Monaco Windsor motorhome, OWFISH, was totaled in an accident.

Repairs scheduled

I checked around the area this morning looking for someone who could do a brake job on the rear axles of the motorhome and find the problem with the generator. No one here in the Livingston area would touch our brakes because they are air brakes. If they were hydraulic brakes, we wouldn't have any problems. I don't want to take it to a truck repair shop here because since we live in the coach, if they have to order parts, we would be treated like another truck and we really don't want to live in muddy parking lot with no place to plug in to keep our freezer going especially since the generator is not running. Two RV shops were willing to work on the generator though. I called Buddy Gregg Motorhomes on the north side of Dallas and they said no problem bring it in. They have a small customer campground at the repair shop with full hookups so we will be leaving here on Saturday for the 250 mile trip north for a Monday morning appointment. From there we will continue up to Norman, Oklahoma for a couple of weeks to visit our daughter and granddaughters before heading north to Lake Michigan.
