Kenny and Nancy call Oconto, Wisconsin home during the summer boating season where together they enjoy recreational boating on the Oconto River and the Bay of Green Bay. When boating season is over they become snowbirds and head south for the winter in their Monaco Windsor luxury motor coach named OWFISH.

Kenny lived and traveled in OWFISH with his late wife Barbara from 2002 until she had a disabling stroke in 2011 and passed away the following year. From then the OWFISH set, except for a short trip in 2013, until Kenny started traveling again with his new wife Nancy in 2014.

Cap'n Kenny

My name is Kenny Sallee, aka Cap'n Kenny. I'm a disabled military veteran making the best of my life and a double retiree.

I'm retired from the US military with over 40 years of military service credit for retirement. Of those years, I wore the uniforms of both the US Army and the US Air Force.

I'm also retired from the US Federal Civil Service with over 39 years of service credit for retirement. I served with both the Department of Defense (US Army and US Air Force) and the Department of Transportation (Federal Aviation Administration).

I was a volunteer with the US Air Force Auxiliary for 6 years specializing in wireless communications and with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary for 2 years as a Recreational Vessel Safety Examiner.

Currently I'm licensed by US Coast Guard as a Master Mariner, by the First Nation Church and Ministry as a Ceremonial Minister and Officiant, and by the State of Wisconsin as a Professional Driver holding a Class "A" Commercial Drivers License with many years experience driving throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.

My ancestral family are Native American (Cherokee) and European Immigrants (Swedish, English, and French). I have historical ties with the 17th century North African Coast corsairs know as the "Sallee Rovers".
In 2002, I married the love of my life, Barbara Pesicka. We had known each other since our teenage days back in 1971. In 2003, we sold our home in Norman, Oklahoma and moved into our motorhome and traveled from coast to coast. After living on the road for 8 years, we leased a waterfront cottage overlooking the bay of Green Bay in the historical community of Oak Orchard, Wisconsin. Barbara passed away on Thanksgiving Day 2012 after a long struggle with diabetes.

In July 2013, I purchased a house on the Oconto River in Oconto Wisconsin where I started rebuilding my life by starting a recreational boating business. On July 19th, 2014, I married Nancy Benchley of Menominee, Michigan. Nancy's husband had passed away 2 days before my wife Barbara. Together we are rebuilding our lives while living in our Oconto riverfront home.
